Story of the morning - sometimes, rubbing a belly can bring you bad luck, like, oh landing up in court.
Rule of thumb here… you might wanna think twice before rubbing a pregnant woman’s belly. First off, to do that in the first place, you gotta be brave. My wife gave birth this year and so I know firsthand that you can NEVER tell what a pregnant woman’s mood is gonna be so don’t even go there. A pregnant woman in Pennsylvania has had enough of strangers rubbing her belly and she is now charging a man with harassment for his unwanted tummy rub. Good for her. And you know what, it shouldn’t stop with pregnant women… I think those of us with beer guts should get in on the action as well. Rubbing our bellies doesn’t give you good luck… it just makes us hungry so unless you're packing a hidden manapua somewhere…. keep your hands to yourself. Read more [here].
And late last night, By a vote of five to two, the Senate Committee on Judiciary and Labor advanced a bill that would legalize same-sex marriage in the State of Hawaii. The bill recognizes marriages between individuals of the same gender. In addition, the measure extends to same-sex couples the same rights, benefits, protections, and responsibilities of marriage that opposite-sex couples are presently entitled to.
